■Terms of Use
These terms and conditions apply to all customers using Ruralcycle's rental bicycle service (with delivery). Any matters not specified in these terms and conditions shall be governed by law or general custom.

(Eligibility)

- Those who can abide by these terms and conditions and other traffic regulations.

- Those who are not under the influence of alcohol.

- Those who are not affiliated with organized crime.

- Those who are at least 145 cm tall, or who can reach the ground with both feet when sitting on the saddle.

- Those who are free from infectious diseases or other diseases that may be contagious or may be transmitted to others.

- Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or older during the rental period.

*The guardian's identification must be presented at the store reception.

- Those deemed appropriate by our store.

(Reservations)

- Reservations can be made using the designated form or by phone.

- Payment can be made in cash or via PayPay.

・Reservations are accepted until 6:00 PM the day before the intended use date.

(Reservation Cancellation)

・No cancellation fee will be charged until 6:00 PM the day before.

・A 100% cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel after 6:00 PM the day before or on the day of use.

・If you do not show up at the pre-arranged delivery location for more than 60 minutes without prior notice, your reservation will be canceled.

(Rental)

・We will ask you to provide proof of your reservation (e.g., a reservation email) and identification.

・We will ask for a means of contact on the day (e.g., a mobile phone number, LINE, etc.).

・We may refuse to rent to you if we are unable to verify the above.

(Return)

・Please return the rented item to the designated location by the scheduled return time.

・Please return the rented item in the same condition as when it was rented. If there is any abnormality or malfunction, please notify us immediately.

(Rental Time Exceeded)

・If you are about to return the item after the scheduled return time, please contact us immediately.

- If you return the bicycle after the rental period has expired, you will be charged an additional fee, as stipulated separately.

- If a late return causes damage to a third party, such as preventing the next applicant from using the bicycle, we may claim compensation for damages.

- If the bicycle is not returned by the scheduled return time and you have not contacted us, we may contact you by phone, mail, email, etc. to confirm the return.

*Extra Fee: An additional fee of 3,000 yen per person will be charged between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on the return date.

If you return the bicycle after 8:00 PM, an additional fee of one day will be charged per person.

(Damage/Fault)

- Please contact us immediately if the rental item is broken or damaged.

- In the event of a flat tire or other malfunction or damage, we will only cover the cost if you contact us before repairs are made and receive our approval.

However, if you repair the bicycle yourself at a bicycle shop without our prior consent, you will be responsible for the repair costs.

・In the event of a breakdown or damage to a rental item due to reasons attributable to the customer, we will generally charge the customer for the damage.

・In the event of a breakdown or malfunction of a rental item due to our fault, or resulting damage to a customer or a third party, we will compensate for such damage within the scope of our liability insurance.

(Theft/Loss)

・If a rental item is stolen or lost, please contact us immediately.

・In the event of a theft or loss of a rental item, we will generally charge the customer for the damage.

(Accident)

・If you are involved in an accident during the rental period, please contact us immediately.

・Please take legally required measures yourself, such as contacting the police if necessary.

・In the event of damage to our store or a third party due to reasons attributable to the customer, we will compensate for such damage within the scope of our liability insurance. However, you will need to negotiate a settlement with the other party yourself, in consultation with the underwriting insurance company. Please be sure to contact us in advance if you wish to settle the amount of damages with the victim.

(Insurance)

- All bicycles at our shop are covered by bicycle liability insurance.

If the insurance coverage is insufficient, we recommend that you purchase bicycle insurance yourself.

(Prohibited Acts)

- Allowing anyone other than the applicant to use the rental product without permission.

- Using the rental product in a dangerous or inappropriate location or manner.

- Modifying or altering the structure or equipment of the rental product.

- Other acts that violate laws and regulations.

(Invalidation of User Agreement, Refusal of Rental)

We may refuse rental, suspend the rental agreement, or request return of the bicycle in the following cases:

- Persons who do not meet the eligibility requirements.

- If the customer engages in acts that violate these Terms of Use.

- If the rental period falls during, or is predicted to fall during, a storm or other severe weather.

- Other cases where our shop deems the rental inappropriate.

(Other)

- If any matter not stated in the Terms of Use arises, the customer and the Company shall negotiate in good faith and endeavor to resolve the matter.
